Horseback Riding

All of our trail rides are guided and booked according to riding ability. All riders are required to sign a waiver. For riders under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must sign for them.

One hour trail ride:

This is our most popular ride. Experienced guides will get you mounted and review basic horsemanship and trail safety, then relax and enjoy your horse and the magnificent forest trails. All rides are guided and categorized according to riding ability.

* Guides will determine if a child requires a lead, age is not always the only factor.

40 minute trail ride:

This ride takes the same forest trail and caters to those who have limited time or are unsure of how they will handle an hour in the saddle.

  • Adults – $26.50
  • Youth – $24.50

  • Lead – $30.50
  • Double – $35.50

Private Trail Ride:

For those that wish for more solitude or a chance to ride more to your own ability. This ride takes the same beautiful forest trails and depending on the riders may try some more challenging places.

  • One person – $65 / hour
  • Two or more people – $50 /hour

Pony Rides:

Lead your child around the large pond at the ranch on quiet friendly ponies. This is a great way to introduce your child to the world of horses, enjoy precious time together and create a lifetime of memories.

SPECIALTY RIDES...

Breakfast Ride

A memorable start to your day begins with a delicious home cooked breakfast at the Ranch – bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast, fruit and coffee. While you enjoy the farm surroundings and beautiful pond setting, guides will ready your horse for the first ride of the day! Allow a total of 2 hours for this activity.

  • 2-3 people – $75 each
  • 4-6 people – $70 each

Weiner Roast Ride

Enjoy a scenic 1.5 hour ride to Barren Lake and back followed by a campfire and BBQ at the Ranch. Hot dogs, drinks and assorted picnic snack food included. Allow a total of 2.5 hours for this activity.

  • 7-8 people – $70 each
  • 9-12 people – $65 each
  • 13-20 people – $60 each

Steak BBQ at the Ranch

Enjoy a scenic one hour trail ride and then relax at the ranch while steaks are cooked on an open fire. (Includes steak, potato, salad, rolls, dessert, coffee)

  • Price - $80 per person (minimum 4 people)

UFO Ride

This is a unique experience for any rider and especially for those with an interest in the unexplained. This ride takes you to the actual site of one of North America’s most documented UFO sightings. This trip takes about 1.5 hours and includes a brief description of the event from the guide.

Overnight Ride

Pack up and head out on an overnight adventure. Experience a deep water crossing, rocky trails and scenic lookouts as you explore the trail to Star Lake. You will gain new respect for the stamina and surefootedness of your mount. Set up your tent by the lakeshore, take a swim to cool off and then relax by the fireside. Enjoy a full steak dinner, fireside stories and maybe a song or two. There will be campfire coffee and a great breakfast before you head back to the ranch the next morning.

Wagon Rides

You can still take part even if you do not “ride” your own horse! Experience a wagon ride drawn by a team of beautiful Belgians! A 45 minute tour through the townsite of Falcon Beach is fun for young and old alike!

Sleigh Rides

A team of Belgians will pull the sleigh through a winter wonderland of beauty! The fresh air and scenery is invigorating!
